Mom.....What's a First Line Centre?
Is it a guy who scores 53 points and outscores the oppositions best by 10 goals, or is it a guy who scores 85 points but gives up more than he gets (save for pretty goals and pretty girls?)
Is it a guy who scores 53 points and outscores the oppositions best by 10 goals for every hour he's on the ice...
Oilman: I know where you're going with this, but there's something whacky with your math. Nobody outscores anybody by 10 goals an hour barring (perhaps) 5v3. Horcoff does well at +2.85/-2.35 = +0.5 per hour.
And yes, I would much rather have him than "Jason Spezza".
woops.....10 goals per season...per hour would be mighty impressive:o) Fixed.
And yes...I searched hard for a Horcoff vs. Spezza faceoff picture to post with this but couldn't find one. Interesting process though, because there were pictures of him facing other outscorers (mainly from the East) - Savard, Stall, Malkin, Crosby, etc.
(I would have also settled for a picture of Horcoff vs Olie Jokinen as well)
